Learn to understand, design, maintain and improve.

The proposed RETS School of Engineering will combine technical learning with laboratory practice, workshop projects, design work and industrial applications. Initial certificates, technical courses and future qualifications will depend on institutional and programme approvals.

Six engineering disciplines

01 /

Mechanical engineering

Machinery, thermodynamics, maintenance, manufacturing processes and CAD.

02 /

Electrical & electronic engineering

Power, circuits, equipment, electronic controls and testing.

03 /

Mechatronics

The integration of mechanics, sensors, electronics and programming.

04 /

Industrial & manufacturing engineering

Processes, quality systems, production, equipment and factory operations.

05 /

Computer & embedded systems

Microcontrollers, hardware, communications and software-controlled devices.

06 /

Renewable energy & power

Solar energy, batteries, power electronics and energy management.

Design, make, test, improve.

Proposed learning spaces include engineering laboratories, fabrication workshops, computer-aided design facilities and test benches. The objective is to help learners connect engineering equations and diagrams to real industrial equipment.

  • Technical drawing and CAD
  • Guided equipment testing
  • Workshop safety and quality assurance
  • Industry-oriented problem-solving
“The value of engineering knowledge is measured in the systems it can improve and the problems it can solve.”
