Vehicle assembly
Consider semi-knocked-down and completely-knocked-down assembly under suitable arrangements.
A staged ambition to build Ghanaian capability in vehicle assembly, production systems and industrial components.

RETS ultimately aims to connect trained automotive technicians, engineers and robotics specialists to viable industrial production. The strategy is explicitly long-term: vehicle assembly and manufacturing will depend on feasibility studies, financing, demand and formal commercial arrangements.
Consider semi-knocked-down and completely-knocked-down assembly under suitable arrangements.
Build capabilities in inspection, testing, logistics and production management.
Develop skills in robotic production equipment, industrial sensors and process controls.
Explore selected metal, plastic, wiring, mechanical and electronic assemblies.
Consider viable machinery, support products and engineered components.
Link technical training to repair, maintenance and service capacity.

Potential manufacturing routes include contract assembly, licensing and joint ventures. No manufacturer agreement is represented as signed here. RETS intends to pursue collaborations that also build local instructor and workforce capacity.
“The ambition is not simply to teach people how to repair imported technology. It is to equip them to understand, improve, design and eventually manufacture it.”— RETS development philosophy
